Serving the Chandler Community for More Than 20 Years

AS OF NOVEMBER 5, 2020, WE WILL BE OPEN FOR BOARDING PETS ONCE AGAIN. Please call the office for more information or to schedule a reservation.

In light of the ongoing situation with COVID-19 and the CDC’s recommendations surrounding social distancing, we want to assure you and your families that Kennel Care and our staff remain committed to staying open in order to care for your furry family members. In an effort to protect you, your loved ones, as well as our staff and their family members, we have instituted some procedural changes. Going forward, we encourage you to follow us on Facebook, where changes and updates can be communicated more rapidly than our website. Our LOBBY WILL REMAIN CLOSED, in an effort to reduce the potential for spread of the virus between both you and our staff. PLEASE CALL FROM INSIDE YOUR CAR UPON ARRIVAL. We will continue to see appointments, provide medications and prescription pet food, but we ask that you follow these steps:

If you, or anyone in your household has recently travelled to an area with active COVID-19 cases, please notify us prior to scheduling or arriving at the clinic.

If you, or anyone in your household has recently tested positive or been in contact with someone who has tested positive, please consider rescheduling or having someone else bring your pet or come to the office for your medications or pet food.

If you have an appointment, please DO NOT COME TO THE LOBBY. Call the office at 480-940-0066, and one of our staff will get pertinent details from you. One of our staff will then come to your car and get your pet, bring them into the office and the doctor or technician will call you to discuss the results of the exam, we will take a credit card payment over the phone, and return your pet safely to you, along with any medications, food, etc.

Please remain in your car until we come to get your pet.

Please be sure to remove any leashes, collars or harnesses from your pet. We will come to your car with a slip lead to bring your pet into the clinic.

For the safety of your pet and our staff, ALL CATS MUST BE BROUGHT TO THE CLINIC IN A CARRIER.

Please be available at the phone number you provide, so our doctors and technicians can reach you during and after the examination. If you are unavailable during your pet’s appointment, it makes it challenging for our staff to see appointments on time.

With the exception of certain medications which are listed as Controlled Substances by the US Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA), we encourage our patients and their families to consider ordering an additional 30 days worth of medication in order to ensure your pets’ needs are met without interruption during this time.

We ask that you remain patient as we implement these new procedures, and we understand that may be difficult for you, your loved ones, and your pets. We assure you that our staff is also working to take care of you and your pets with the same level of care and concern during this difficult and unprecedented time.

FOR THOSE WHO WOULD PREFER TO HAVE MEDICATIONS MAILED DIRECTLY TO THEIR HOME, PLEASE LET OUR STAFF KNOW AND WE WILL ACCOMMODATE YOU. Please allow 3-5 days for delivery (depending on the method of shipment), and be aware that additional shipping/handling charges may apply.

We are working with our food suppliers to ensure that your pets’ needs are met. For those who have experienced shortages and/or outages, we have been told that supplies are available, but deliveries may be delayed. Please contact the office and we will help you get the food your pets need.

We are currently exploring options to help your pets over the phone and/or video chat, and will post additional information to our Facebook page as soon as we have it available. STAY TUNED.

The staff at Kennel Care remains dedicated to helping you and your pets. Please remain patient and work with us through this unexpected and unprecedented situation. Our goal remains providing the BEST pet care possible, while also caring for you, our doctors, our staff, and all of our loved ones. TOGETHER, we will all make it through these unusual times, and we will continue to keep your furry family members happy and healthy in the months and years to come. We thank you for your help and understanding, but MOST OF ALL for your continued loyalty, and your trust in our doctors and staff. Kennel Care cares about you and your pets, and will continue to do so through all of this.
